how about irobot? OMFG. the movie took the character of susan calvin, a strong intelligent woman in asimov's books, subtracted 30 years of her age in order to add eye candy for the male audience and reduced her persona to a blabbering mess. i find that far more appalling than "twilight"

also, "wicker man" -- the entire movie is about nicholas cage running around in a bear suit punching women, and the original is only marginally better.
