And her use of the word 'slutty' bothers me too. It's yet another example of male language used to define women. (And I have noted that she says, 'no matter your gender.') The fact remains that she uses the word in the first place.

BTW - I agree with virtually everything you say about Twilight. And I can't believe how many sensible women (& men) don't get how misogynist & nasty these books are.
