The next few months are going to be INTENSE as Adam and I scramble to come up with several thousand more dollars and budget so tightly that we're only eating toast for two months. I foresee some confusion and nail biting, but I believe this is happening.

My adviser was so encouraging and enthusiastic. She even feels confident that Adam will be able to find a job.

Wales, here we come!

What I say has nothing to do with the current economy and everything to do with what I went through with Mary. I shouldn't be beating you around the head with my baggage but that was a person with two masters degrees and a buckets worth of experience engaged to a British national. That was before they tightened the rules.


I'm sorry, I should have just laid that down at the beginning rather than just being the niggling lil' devil sitting on your shoulder.

It's going to be hard. But we're up for it.

What's hard is that the first question every one has asked has been "What will Adam do for work?" BEFORE asking why or saying "Wow, how neat!" or anything.

Will you even be in Lampeter this fall?
