We're moving. Holy crap. The house is chaos. Bennett is regressing a little. He MUST be with mama ALL THE TIME>. I am going insane.

Quick question for the mama brain trust: Can you put a car seat in a Uhaul truck? I know they're bench seats. What say you about driving 8 hours with a 13 month old in a car seat in a Uhaul?

ETA: Never mind. We're not all driving down. B and I am flying and Adam is driving. I love my son, but today I'm really burnt out.

Poor B :-( No doubt he's feeling your stress and is confused by the chaos. I know money is tight, but any chance you can leave him with somebody you trust (not in your house, somewhere else) for a day while you blitz things? We moved twice before the kiddo was 6 months old, and having him out of the house so I could focus helped get things done, and make me a nicer, less-stressed person.

Yes! We're moving to WALES!

But first, we're going to San Diego, to spend time with Adam's family, save on rent and store our belongings. In the beginning of August I'm taking B to Alaska for two weeks to be with my family and to see the Home Land! We leave for Wales at the end of August.

my hat is off to you. we moved 6 blocks down in february and i was a ball of anxiety and stress for a month. considering how much you have to do and the major life change you're undertaking, i'd say you're holding it together pretty well!

Well, "official" is relative. Still no visa, but we're leaving dodge on July 18th!
