Must just be attitude. My friends and I pregnant in the early "70's did NOT cry. We made a point of having our emotions under control because men expected us to be emotional and therefore "inferior". We had some thing to prove. If our hormones surged I guess we just ignored them. Women were considered to be "irrational" when pregnant. We were out to prove that notion wrong.
