Vacation

Ok. We did it. I'm still not sure how we're paying for it, but that is inconsequential right at this moment. Adam and I just bit the bullet and decided to go here for three nights. We booked the Chapel Suite, of course. It's gonna be great. We love Sonoma, the trip is about relaxing and enjoying each other.... god, so why do I sound like I'm talking myself into this?? I have five weeks to sink into the reality of the trip.

I SUCK AT VACATIONS.

I know! We've never done anything like this. I'm really excited, but also trying to quiet the nagging, scolding voice in my head that says we can't afford it. Whatever. We haven't even had a honeymoon! I guess this is it.

Amazing. I find taking vacations really stressful, until I get there. I hope you have a great time. Glenn and I once went to a bed and breakfast and the lady who owned it had a dog named toodles who was allowed in any room, and if it came to the door you had to let it in or it would bark incessantly, and the bed creaked. We snuck out before the first night was over and high tailed it to the Hilton. That was probably the best and funniest vacation I've ever had.

What a horrible B&B!

I'm looking forward to the trip. We really do need to do something nice for ourselves. We only manage to justify small things. I think it'll be really good to celebrate before the baby comes. It'll be a honeymoon AND a first anniversary trip -our 1 yr wedding anniversary is the day after my due date!)
