Today's lists

What today looks like:
*Up with the sun, thanks to a nightmare about falling into icy Juneau waters, crying because I couldn't swim with my heavy belly and coat, knowing that hypothermia was setting in
*Attempted a nap
*Tidied the apartment
*Attempted to meditate
*Laundry
*Made granola
*Brushed Nigel
*Watched two episodes of Scrubs
*Now, off to a midwife appointment in the city

I am grateful for:
*Home made granola
*Hot cocoa made with whole milk
*Whole milk
*My lap top
*The enormous beautiful green tree right outside my living room window
*Adam going grocery shopping tonight
*Getting away again this coming weekend

What a freaky dream. What is it about pregnancy and dreams, I myself have had a few nightmares and just far-too-vivid-to-be-comfortable dreams.

I would totally pay to join you for homemade granola!

I haven't had dreams this vivid since my teenage years! I *definitely* think there are many correlations between adolescence and pregnancy!

Hey, the granola is really easy to make and is soooo tasty. Easy to modify too. I can pass the recipe along if you'd like. It's also much cheaper than buying the good stuff and healthier than the cheap stuff.

I'm just waking up from the most awful nightmare. Pregnancy hormones are wild things and you're probably right, that they are hand in hand with the stuff we experience in adolescence. And yes, Yay for granola! except boo, because now it's the only thing I want to eat, and we don't have any. I agree with teamrose, I would pay to eat your granola. It's a business, screw your Ph.D, offer food to hungry pregnant women.

Ha! I'm already screwing my PhD in soooo many ways. I put off making the granola for weeks and I'm really happy that I made it yesterday. How about this? I make you food and you clean my house?

Deal.... But I warn you I have a bad habit of vacuuming really early in the morning. Can I have your granola recipe???
