When we were argyle

I can tell I'm fertile again. My uterus has that feeling, a certain twitch, that says "Fill me! I MUST MATE!"

It's quite odd. More than a little disconcerting.

In other news, Bennett ate his first mouthful of cat food today.

Bobby has been obsessed with the cat food and worse, water, for a couple of months. We moved it after he ate his first mouthful, but now he's learning to climb stairs....

Is PhD finishing time a good time to be pregnant? Is the UK a good place to have a baby? I imagine the answer to both might be "yes," but for the time, energy and money. Keeping my current job makes the next year a better time for me to get pregnant again. Hmm.

There is never a good time to get pregnant. And I'll be 34 in three weeks (or something like that), so I ain't got time to waste!

I hear that. I'm 33 too, but James is 37--which obviously doesn't matter as much, but he'll still need baby-chasing energy and wants to be able to retire eventually.

Our next kids could be the same age too. :)

There is never a good time, but make sure you have a good daycare lined up in advance if you want to ever get done with your dissertation.

The International Student Support office told me the creche at the University is **free** to students. Thankyoubabyjesus for socialism! Here's hoping the care is good.
