Bibs and bobs

*I am obsessed with So You Think You Can Dance. I have season 6 (no spoilers!) and I just love it. I would love to take a dance class. I tell myself year after year that I will.... and then I never do.

*For Lent this year I am going to do two things: stop drinking tea or coffee in my house and not buy any alcohol. Currently thanks to our Massive Mega Budget Crunch we are eating super healthily and frugally. I can make one chicken last for 5 meals. The secret? Lots of carrots and whole grains.

*Also in the spirit of Lent: being more focused with my time online. I really don't need to check in with Facebook all that often. No, really I don't.

*Bennett is 34 inches tall and 27.5 pounds at 20 months.

Mmm, I would love to see some of those meals with chicke, it sounds nice and healthy.

1.Roast chicken with veggies
2. and 3. Left over chicken meat went in stir fry made with brown rice, enough for two nights
4. and 5. Use the chicken carcass and boiled it down to make broth, then used that with barley and veg to make a soup

That's so weird - ninja is the same height and only 1lb heavier than B, but ninja looks so much chunkier...I guess that pound is all in ninja's face lol.

SYTYCD is awesome. So much beauty and talent (and hard work!).

Couldn't watch the last season though....there was SYTYCD and the a Canadian version back to back....then the next US season was starting right up. I OD'd on it.

I had a dream about you last night!! Of course I've forgotten lots of the little bits, but the gist is: I came to visit you. I brought Henry three shirts, all for when he's bigger, that had dinosaur faces on them and HENRY in big letters across the front. Then you were explaining to me why the Olive Garden is your favorite restaurant. Then we went running and I explained to you why the burrito is my favorite food. ??!

Ha! That's awesome! Although Olive Garden? Yuck.

I didn't mention it, but I had a dream about you last week when I was still in 'recovery' mode from being sick. You, Adam and Bennett all lived here - but B & H were older. You were pregnant, and there was another child, but I don't remember seeing him/her, I just 'knew' she existed. You were a yoga instructor and Adam worked from home, while Chris watched all the kids.

Very committed to Canada. Free health care, legal same-sex marriage, pro-choice, anti-gun....not to mention my Mom & Dad living right around the corner. Too many reasons to stay.

But we have a big house - lots of room for a gaggle of kids....
