Your word of the day is:

syzygy.

Today Adam is generally irritable and I seem to be triggering it. I seem to do this regularly. Bennett is napping. I read for 4 hours straight today. I finished this, read this for fun, read about 100 more pages from this, and some other stuff.

Then I tried to look for good quality blankets in this town and couldn't find any. But a friend is going to loan us a nice wool blanket. I'm tired of freezing all night long and spending a fortune on heating the bedroom all night long when it doesn't do much good. Grumble grumble. The weather can't decide if it wants to snow properly or not.

For dinner tonight I am making mac n cheese, but we're going to add some jalepenos and see what happens.

I'm not doing too well on this no tea or coffee Lenten thingy.

Is syzygy in any way realted to Jozxyqk (http://en.wikiquote.org/wiki/Red_Dwarf#Bodyswap)?

As for Adam feeling irritable, it's not cabin fever is it? You seem to have made a few friends of your own and as a couple, but I/we don't read much about Adam forming his own circle of friends.

Syzygy is a real word - alignment of celestial bodies.

Adam is moody by nature and there's not much to distract him here.

What kind of shops do you have in a town as small as Lampeter sounds like it is?

Adam likes to say we have two of everything: two grocery stores, two petrol stations, two vets, two pound/discount shops, two Indian places, two Chinese places. But we have about 5 charity shops, 10 cafes, 10 churches, a couple nice boutiques (for the stylish and monied 45+ woman), and several hair dressers. There is one CRAP store with home linens, one beautiful and expensive home store, and a Welsh quilt shop.

I find 'generally irratable' to be the most frustrating of Chris's moods (and the mood which I call 'pissy'). Give me a cause, and I can help fix it....just be pissy? Ugh.

Have you tried (or do you) sleep naked? Makes for a much warmer/cozier sleep. I'm the queen of pajamas...they go on when I get home, but come off at bedtime!

Waaaay too cold to sleep naked. Plus we have cheap fucking sheets. Blargh. Plus, I almost never sleep with my legs uncovered. I'm too prickly.

(As I write this, Bennett is supposed to be sleeping. ARGH. At least he's not demanding I play with him. I spent AN HOUR in a dark bedroom trying to get him to sleep. But no. Little shit.)

I have to admit, cold, cheap sheets do not sound fun to me.

Prickly legs though, I do not have a problem with. You could rub them against mine and we could start a fire! Heat problem solved.

HOT.

I do owe you some sweet, sweet lovemaking, don't I?

I told Adam this while he was making breakfast and he laughed, saying "I think I'm doing something right if my client is hitting on my wife!"

Ha!

Haha!

While his mad design skillz are impressive, they have very little to do with my wanton flirtation.

Oh, and kindly remind him that I much prefer the term 'sugar mama' to client ;)
