Knees ache from uneven streets and cobblestones. Brain full up from constant input. Eyes exhausted from continually taking in beauty. Stomach full from many servings of tea, chocolate and whisky.
Today: Sunday service at St. Giles Cathedral (Ms. Em did not join me, of course). Tour of The Real Mary King's Close. Lunch in the park, then went to an exhibit of William Blake at the National Gallery. Then a bus ride to another part of town to a modern gallery and a walk along the Water of Leith (a river). A cab ride home. Will eat my favorite noodle dish tonight. And eat more chocolate and drink more whisky.
Tomorrow: We are going to Rosslyn Chapel which was used in the Da Vinci Code. Should be ridiculous.
Also, Scottish men are attractive. And seem to like me too. I have to say that the Welsh are not attractive people (although there were one or two that caught my eye), in general.
