What an odd few days. I am home alone with Bennett. So far so good. However, the washing machine doesn't work. This much we know. The weather was supposed to be a massive snow storm today, recovering by tomorrow. This was ideal because Adam is driving his parents here from London tomorrow. But today it has been blowing gales and raining ice. Tomorrow is now predicted to be the snow storm along with freezing fog. *I am trying not to worry about Adam on the roads.*

To cap it all off? I think the winds have negated my cell phone service. I can't get a signal.

Home alone, with a toddler, at the top of a hill, in a storm, with no phone. As long as we don't lose power we'll be alright. In good news, Bennett napped for an hour and a half, during which time I did an entire hour of yoga and met with the landlord. The house is clean. I suspect we will be watching a few movies tonight.

Yikes! How's the snow plow situation in the U.K, do you know? It seems like even if the snow had come today it might still be treacherous by tomorrow. I hope Adam and parents stay safe and you and B stay sane.

Yikes, fer real. No snow so far, but it's still very windy, wet and cold. Good thing we have great cartoons and yummy pizza, and I have red wine!
