A Fresh Start

Completely intentional. I use She to balance the male interpreted word-form God. My repeated use of She is also counter the decades of male-God programming. I've never believed in a male God, but language is subtle and slippery and effects us whether or not we think it does. The dichotomous language, despite being my choice, still challenges my assumptions and forces me to be bold in communication. I often use It and that also confuses/offends/intrigues some people. And mixes it up for me a different way. Rarely do I say Goddess, but I do sometimes. In my academic papers I often use god/dess.
