theatokosI never thought I would be so grateful for an on-line life.
1. What is your earliest memory?
I have very vague memories of playing - but I'm not sure how much of these are formed from photos. Distinctly, I remember living in a teal duplex on Douglas. I must have been 2 1/2 or 3. The memories are of laying out my toys in a line on the driveway curb and also of whacking my head on the metal shelving in the living room.
2. Tell me about a book you've read recently, what you thought about it, and whether you'd recommend it to me.
That's easy! I recently read The Weather Makers by Tim Flannery, an Australian, all about global warming. I recommend it to you and am bringing you my copy this weekend. What I really appreciated about this book was the way the author laid all of the facts out for non-science folk like myself, but without being condescending. He also didn't take an "it's all your fault if you still drive" attitude, which I think will allow his message to reach a broader audience.
3. Describe a dream you had last night. (Or the last one you remember.)
I cannot. I remember it, but it is not appropriate for public eyes.
4. Favorite line of your favorite song/poem? (Stealing this one from LP's interview of me because I like it.)
I always loved the way this rolled off the tongue:

down to a sunless sea

5. What's the craziest thing you've ever done?
Um, the details here too are not so public appropriate, but it has to include my 25th birthday and the reason why I was crazy then.
