A cry for help

Computers are fantastic. Until they don't work right. My itunes is causing me grief. I posted a few days ago that it turned up empty last week. I've been able to find all of my songs, but only a fraction will go back into my itunes and then it tells me my disc is full. Which is not true. I cleared out a lot of garbage while on vacation, so there should actually be more room. Why could all of the music fit before, but not now?

If anyone knows anything about this, please help. I am a self-confessed computer moron. The solution may very well be obvious, but mine eyes can't see it.


Argh. Another night where I'm fiddling on my laptop and not reading the end of The Brothers Karamazov.
