I have been preoccupied. While my life is full of the usual good things and brain continues to take in interesting information and attempt to fashion it into interesting thoughts, I have a rather large distraction.....

I am pregnant.

I am one month pregnant.

I am due in early July.



Holy moly, people. My life will never be the same.

Magda, you're going to be the most fabulous mom!! You get to carry a little bundle around in a woven sling and teach him/her how to cook and make friends and make art and believe good fun things. This is so exciting. And giving birth in early July! That means your baby will be a Cancer! One of my favorites! Oh, I'm so excited.

Listen to you! Gosh, I wish you were nearby - I could use such enthusiasm! I am actually excited about kids, it's the infant part that is so overwhelming. They are absolutely delightful, but when they are yours you can't give them back! It's all baby, all the time....

And yes, a Cancer. I have a whole host of Cancers in my family already, but I really know very little about that. Feel free to enlighten me!

I'm looking forward to the day our two little Cancer's meet (tho mine is a rather cuspy lad, just 5 hours shy of Leo).

Do let me know how I may be of support in these coming months (& years...) And I'll just tell you what all my friends keep telling me about the baby phase-- it doesn't last forever. And I for one am loving it, sleep deprivation & achy boobs & all...

this summer i worked with two girls who were pregnant and it was the first time i had ever really been around anyone who was pregnant for a long period of time. it´s kind of freaky and amazingly wonderful at the same time. a person! inside of you! and then they come out and they´re a real person outside of you!

*pictures* Yes, will have to get Adam's dad's digital camera set up. It is weird to think that there is something else alive in me. Right now it's growing eyes and the aorta is developing. Whoa!
