I found this on a friend's blog and I think it's neat:

Everyone has things they blog about. Everyone has things they don't blog about. Challenge me out of my comfort zone by telling me something I don't blog about, but you'd like to hear about, and I'll write a post about it. Ask for anything, big or small, important or frivolous.

Comments are screened and responses/posts will be posted separately.

I know you post about this sometimes, but I'd really like to hear more about your PhD studies these days--what you've been reading lately, what you think about it, what ideas you're finding exciting.

I would love to hear about your experiences with the Froud Faery Oracle (please tell me I'm not hallucinating that it's the deck I last saw you with). I don't think you've posted about that, at least not lately.

I will answer this. Maybe here. Who knows. But right now I'm going to eat and then sit.

My response!

I haven't been very active with tarot recently - mostly because I've been loathe for any more input. Sometimes the noise from meditation is too much! However, I do really like this deck. I don't think that I would ever use it for reading with others, but that may be that I'm still learning the deck. The symbols are not as "universal." I think it's a pretty powerful personal deck and good for when I need some non-doing perspective, if that makes sense. I think it's also a good deck to go to for deeper personal work. Sometimes traditional tarot can explain the overall patterns or forces at work, but leaves much of the emotional and internal world vague. The fairy deck would make a great follow on for specific questions.

Up until the move, I was pulling a card a day from the oracle, as a way to get to know the deck and as a way to get more information about where I'm at. I will go back to it here shortly.
