How's my relationship these days?
My relationship with Adam is awesome. This week especially it could not be better. He's putting up with a hell of a lot of moodiness and craziness from me - ah, pregnancy. In general, though I am so lucky to be with someone who I respect and enjoy so much. Plus, we work together and I'm really glad we're already sleeping together, because today he's wearing this really nice black, button-down shirt with well fitting black slacks and he looks HOT. I would have been totally distracted with lustful thoughts at this morning's meeting if I didn't know he was already coming home with me.

Regarding my PhD studies, what am I reading? What am I thinking about?
Hahahahahahaha! Nothing. To both questions. I am the worst student ever. Haven't read anything in a month, have barely had a theological thought or even an interesting thought in weeks. I promise that once I get back on that - and this burn out will pass, eventually - I'll post something.

And now, a question for all of you:
Facebook. How many of you are on it? Do you like it? Is it interesting? It seems like everybody and their grandma is on it. My 60 yr old aunt is on there! But is it anything more than a place where people play scrabulous and collect "friends"? Can meaningful relationship building occur there? I'm thinking that I might attempt to track down some old friends through it, but the last thing I want is one more networking site to keep track of, or one more way to find me on the internet.

See, I almost didn't post that question because I had gotten the impression that pregnancy and moving and all your other stuff had taken over from the PhD. But I am definitely interested in hearing more about it. Still, no pressure or anything!

I'm on Facebook, but I consider it fairly useless. I have caught up with a couple of old friends through their messaging system, and it is useful for getting event notifications from groups I belong to, but otherwise it's basically scrabulous and friend collection.

I'm on Facebook. And I felt like I'd been tricked into joining, until I discovered Scrabulous and then Scramble. So I play word games on Facebook. And my belief that this is what Facebook is for explains why I almost started this comment by writing, "I'm on Scrabulous." Yeah.

Ha! Adam joined today and he said it will my life if I join. And he discovered Scramble too. Hm. I see a trend here!

Facebook looks completely dull. I just can't get into myspace. I may be too old for it's appeal..... I basically see bad layouts, "sexy" teen photo spreads, and friend collections.

That's what I think of myspace too. The hideousness of so many of the pages...or whatever you call them...burns my eyes.

I'm on Facebook, Myspace, and pretty much all the other networking sites. I don't really use them a whole lot except as a way of keeping track of my friends. And once in a while folks will find me through there -- I like reconnecting with folks from the past, so I like that. I don't play the games on facebook, though. I use some of the applications, but not many.
