I got a bike!!

On Friday afternoon I finally purchased a bicycle. I am pleased as punch. I really wanted a U-frame - better for short little legs. However, this will do just fine. Mine is black, too, just like the picture. I got to work in record time, I think. I thought it would take me so much longer, but I think biking is faster than riding the bus, and it certainly is much more pleasant. My lungs and knees did protest a bit, but they'll catch on soon enough.

I wish you all could see my childish little grin this morning.
