Feb. 22nd, 2009 08:28 amI forgot we were having people over for brunch this morning. I have two hours to come up with food. It's grocery day so we're low on food. It's pouring with rain so a quick trip to the store is out. The house is a mess and I am groggy.
Thankfully the couple coming over also have a 7 month old son so their acceptance of chaos is guaranteed. Bennett is a happy camper this morning. I tried to take some pictures of him playing with all my pumping stuff and an old reader from grad school (Biblical Apocalyptic Literature) but he shut his eyes everytime the flash went off. Or he looked stoned.
Just to record for myself: yesterday was a great day, one of the better ones I've had in a while. I owe it all to the yoga class I went to at 8am. And possibly the hour walk I went on with Bennett. And going to Feast Bay, where I gorged myself on warm dates stuffed with blue cheese and walnuts. Mind boggling delicious.
