I don't mean to be a "fixer" - I know sometimes the emotions just need to be felt. But, the moments passed so here's a thought - Something I learned if I was going to vent was to follow up with 10 things I'm grateful for about the situation/person/upsetting thing/etc.
I've found that it helps me discern when the bitch really needs to bark or when I'm just being bitchy.
No, it was mostly walking into work and having a list of things to do and then getting a nasty email from a colleague which impacted moving forward on a big project, plus other *all of a sudden* needs and meetings. I could barely keep up for the first 2 hours at work. It was like a deluge of negative information. So, my brain went kablooey. The day ended mostly fine. .....Until Bennett decided to fight sleep by crying and sobbing for 2 hours. Good times!
