I am completely in love with my baby. For the first time since giving birth, for a brief moment yesterday I kinda missed being pregnant. Also, somewhere in the last two weeks I've finally gotten over that "holy crap, we have a BABY" feeling. Took over 5 months, but it happened.

I have parvo virus. That would explain the incredible fatigue, occasional nausea and severe achiness. Yay.

Bennett ate some mushed avocado yesterday. He is very interested in solids and cups. Every time I drink something he tries to grab it. Little dude is growing up!

My life is in a lot flux, lots of interior flux and I use the internet to avoid stuff. Pattern duly noted.

Glad you aren't a puppy

How do you have parvo? What do you do for that?

I guess mammals in general can get it....? My doctor said parvo was going around. I just have to wait for it to pass - it lasts about 6 weeks (yikes!) so I have another 2 weeks to go. It is getting better. Just treat the symptoms. Yay.

I was just about to ask about the parvo virus..... but I am glad that you are starting to get better.

I miss being pregnant too. I had a great pregnancy. *sigh*

Avocado? Sounds good. We're going to try some sweet potato next week on Thanksgiving. We're going to wait until 6 months on cereal to reduce diabetes risk. But they're definitely interested so the naturopath said to start with veggies.

Feel better--in all ways.

Yeah, I'm not interested in buying rice cereal. I figure I'll just give him stuff we're eating (unsalted and mushy of course) - like boil carrots if we're having them, or avocados! Our ped said to wait until 6 months to make sure his digestion was mature enough. He'll be 6 months next week, but seriously he is *beside himself* when we eat because he wants what we're having. I figured that was a go!

I bet your boys are gonna love the sweet potato. Mmmmmm.

I'm glad there's an explanation for how you've been feeling. And parvo isn't anything to worry about, so that's good!

I've had a few feelings about missing being pregnant. Not the physical aspects, but how easy everything was compared to now...and how exciting and hopeful it all was.
