Anne Rice is not my cup of tea. Buffy has stolen my heart. I also read Bram Stoker's Dracula and loved that - though I am partial to the 19th Century novel.
I'm not too concerned with twists on vampire lore, because each author has tweaked it to some degree.
But how awful to be perpetually 17 and no sex before marriage..... I mean, the poor guy is eternally under the age of consent. Some one stake him already!
