A needed brain break

Another lazy day. This weekend is so great. I'm working on an essay on Mary and grace. Skipping a friend's first gig in the city (sorry Matt). I'm on a theological role and just couldn't bear the thought of BARTing to and fro.

Adam sleeps on OUR bed. Gotta make that "our" clear. We split the expenses of the sleeping upgrade. Worth every damn cent.

It's raining out. I love it. Gonna eat fancy French brie and goat cheese and drink red wine tonight before going to see Kill Bill Vol. 2.

Oooh. I might be going to see Prince on June 2. Prince rocks my world. RollingStone said he was doing old stuff and going easy on the Jehovah's Witness bit. How cool would it be to see Prince?? The mere thought makes me want to do my happy dance.

Saw the Stepford Wives (the original) last night. SO GOOD. You must rent it now. Creepy as all get out. Just fabulous.

Back to work now.

i'm jealous...for several reasons! first, i'm sleeping on the crappiest bed ever! second, i love brie and goat cheese. third, every time i make plans to see kill bill v2 they fall through! fourth, crap, i can't think of any more whining to do. but anyway, way to go on all counts! and have fun at prince if you go!

Wow does a new bed make a difference. And this isn't some expensive bed, either. Just a bed from Goodwill (some leftovers from a mattress shop or something).

Kill Bill 2, so fun. Not as violent at all as the first. But still.... the scene with Uma and the one eyed chick.... bad ass.
