Really disappointing day at work. Maxed out by the codependence and lack of vision there. Revived by my amazing baby boy and his efforts at walking - holy moly! Also revived by gouda, brie, crackers and chardonnay.

Fer real. He's not walking by himself, but with my fingers he will walk around the room OR if he is against a couch or coffee table he'll walk himself along it. WHOA. My mother says that I was started to crawl between 7 and 8 months and was full on independently walking at 9 months (B will be 9 months at the end of the month!). B doesn't like being on his tummy and doesn't want to crawl but he wants to walk desperately. It's just craziness!

My friend's baby never crawled--just went straight to walking. Walking brings a whole new level of mischief.

Walking!?! That's crazy! I can't believe B is almost 9 months.

Now I'm coveting some good, yummy, cheese. Nom Nom

Apparently, crawling is very important for cross brain activity, including reading. However, it doesn't matter in which order crawling and walking happen, only thar crawling does.

Just start him straight on the yoga.

(I cannot believe he is this close to walking.)

No kidding. He's growing up! And while he's a super cute baby, I don't mind at all. Autonomy - yay!
