Things I'm really liking right now
Dec. 17th, 2009 09:29 pmFull Metal Alchemist. Thanks,
bravenewcentury!
Pukka herbal teas. I want to try each and every one. We have 5 different kinds currently on hand.
The abundant bird life here. I'm not very good with my birds, but I know I've seen magpies, ravens, swans, hawks (maybe kestrels or kites?), mourning doves, and various other kinds of finches and blackbirds, and other birdies.
The cold clear weather, and the dark.

Date: 2009-12-18 01:58 pm (UTC)Kestrels are much smaller than the magnificent red kites which are instantly identifiable by their forked tails. The 'mourning doves' are likely to be wood pigeons.
Just Google them all ~ they are are loads of fab pictures of birds that hang out in Wales! Don't forget buzzards ~ you will see plenty of them too.
