It is totally the same thing. With Iris, I only threw up twice, but felt sick every day, all day and night with very little reprieve. I did my first ceremonial vomiting today, so I suppose I'm half way to the finish line, right? ;) My sickness went away magically as I hit 12 weeks, so I'm really hoping I've only got three more weeks to go with this. PLEASE GOD PLEASE. I actually haven't tried beets for morning sickness, but I have a friend who is a naturopath and she swears by them. I've been drinking mineral water by the liter. Lots of animal protein. I am really turned off by anything sweet and where I used to NEED carbs to survive, I can go without them forever, so long as I have meat. My typical meal (at any hour) has been steak, watermelon, spinach, and seltzer water. Watermelon has a ton of iron in it- so good for pregnant and breastfeeding mamas!
