Off kilter, out of whack
Sep. 28th, 2006 03:18 pmI have not been to yoga for two weeks.
Apparently I am allergic to something. I've not been allergic to anything, ever. But Oakland has done me in. I have appointments with doctors to figure out why I have hives.
I woke up this morning and discovered that my left knee doesn't want to work. It doesn't hurt so much as not work. This happens to my knees occasionally. I had to ride the bus to work, instead of my bike.
On said bus I saw a girl that works at one of the local cafes, who has also been to YWAM. She knows this fact about me thanks to a mutual acquaintance who likes to tell my secrets. She also looks kinda like a shorter and not as skinny Maggie Gyllenhall. We talked about YWAM.
Last night I drank wine with the Future Governor of Alaska and her roomies - all 3L students (last year law school). A lovely time. I remember the delightful bike ride home in the brisk autumnal evening. I do not remember the fight I had with Adam. This is bad. Very bad. This happens to my memory occasionally.
In general, I don't feel quite right.

Date: 2006-09-29 01:09 am (UTC)I should just mention that I very much like the wee pic of the Madonna you've got heading this post. I know it's a halo, but the negative space, being dark, looks like bat wings.
But feel better. You all all my sympathy in the crap-feeling department. And I haven't gotten to exercise since July, unless you count carrying the odd book box. I hear you, I hear you.

The idea of you riding your bike on a brisk night paints a lovely picture in my brain and makes me feel happy.
