My assistant is filing in my office. We are talking about Les Miserables. We both love the musical. "Have you read the book?" I ask. (It's one of my favorite novels, especially when you skip over the whole Napoleonic wars and Parisian sewers hoo-ha.) "No," she replies. "I'm not so good with plot."
