The New Toy

Oh my goodness. I totally splurged and purchased a refurbished mac book. It's my "off for more grad school" gift, since my previous laptop died due to negligence/ignorance. This one is matte black and sleek. It even has a teensy tiny little built in camera. I will be spending the night dorking out with my new toy. And getting my itunes up to speed.

Yeah, there were some things I could've done to help it along and I didn't know. But also once a problem started I never got it looked at and it grew worse. Like that tooth ache that's no big deal, but by the time it hurts the damage is way past an easy fix.

But holy cow, is my mac book hot.

hooray! very exciting. i've always been happy with my desktop, but the last few months i can definitely understand the lure of the laptop. being able to take your own computer where ever you'd like. *sigh* it sounds lovely.

I love being able to take my computer out and about - so I can work other than at home. And the laptops are now so light (mine is only 5lbs) and sleek that they're no trouble to cart around.
