Today is Super Tuesday and I have yet to vote. Who to vote for?? Please advise me. Any and all opinions are welcome.

What do I do? There are so many good reasons to vote for either Obama or Clinton! I'm completely on the fence about both.

*Clinton pros: wicked smart, woman, wealth of experience and connections from the Clinton years (which were good years), knows her foreign policy, crafty.
*Clinton cons: crafty, total party politician, DIVISIVE (this actually bothers me tremendously, having to deal with 4 more years of hateful Rep/Dem bickering makes me so sad), continues the Clinton/Bush monopoly of executive power.
*Obama pros: fresh, uniting, policy not too different from Clinton, engages Americans, appeals to the rest of the world, would likely create a vibrant and diverse cabinet.
*Obama cons: hardly has voted or participated in Senate while Senator, riding on charm, untested at such a high level, could be another situation where the Pres has to rely to heavily on advisers.

Or, I could just symbolically cast my vote for Edwards (if that's still available) to indicate that his policy resonates with me more than the other two. And then, I'd just suck it up and support the winner.

What say you?

If you don't care between Obama and Clinton, I say vote Edwards.

I voted for Obama based on electability.

I may go Obama, mostly because of the divisiveness issue. If I have to listen to another 4 years of people playing Red State/Blue State I may never vote again.

It looks to me like you answered your own question w/your pros/cons. I, for one. think Obama's intelligence & apparent integrity will serve him (& us) well, despite his relative lack of experience. I also fear that enough people irrationally despise Hillary, such that she's not electable in the end. And I find the groundswell of support for Obama really inspiring & hopeful. I admit, it's a gut level decision for me this time around.

FWIW.

I will support whoever wins the Dem. nomination, but I voted for Clinton. Her health care plan wins me over more than Obama's because she evidently plans on universal coverage where Obama doesn't want to "force" people to have coverage, and I think it is a moral imperative that everyone have coverage, period. Also, I figure if she was able to get elected to the Senate despite the Hillary-hatred (and living in Georgia, believe me, I am familiar with it), she will probably do okay. I think the Republicans are going to try to destroy whatever Democrat is in power, and I would hate for their attempt to destroy Obama to lead to a worsening of the racial divide. That's not to say I'm avoiding voting for him because he's not white--I'm just not sure how he'll manage the Republicans' attempts to destroy him, while I have a good idea of how Clinton will.
