I'm stumped.
Feb. 5th, 2008 01:46 pmToday is Super Tuesday and I have yet to vote. Who to vote for?? Please advise me. Any and all opinions are welcome.
What do I do? There are so many good reasons to vote for either Obama or Clinton! I'm completely on the fence about both.
*Clinton pros: wicked smart, woman, wealth of experience and connections from the Clinton years (which were good years), knows her foreign policy, crafty.
*Clinton cons: crafty, total party politician, DIVISIVE (this actually bothers me tremendously, having to deal with 4 more years of hateful Rep/Dem bickering makes me so sad), continues the Clinton/Bush monopoly of executive power.
*Obama pros: fresh, uniting, policy not too different from Clinton, engages Americans, appeals to the rest of the world, would likely create a vibrant and diverse cabinet.
*Obama cons: hardly has voted or participated in Senate while Senator, riding on charm, untested at such a high level, could be another situation where the Pres has to rely to heavily on advisers.
Or, I could just symbolically cast my vote for Edwards (if that's still available) to indicate that his policy resonates with me more than the other two. And then, I'd just suck it up and support the winner.
What say you?
