Updates from a (mostly) SAHM

I wish Go Fug Yourself was a tv channel so I could just sit around and be amused while breast feeding all day long.
Benn had his 2 month-ish check up today (he is 7.5 weeks), which featured his first set of immunizations. After reading, researching, talking with nurses (including my mother who was a school nurse) and thinking it over, I have decided that I am pro-immunization, although if some one wanted to go slow and delay, I'm fine with that. But, I think it is unwise not to immunize.
Benn now weighs 6lbs, 6.4 oz. Go Benn!! We like the weight gain. However, growth spurts mean I spend hours, literally hours, doing nothing but breast feeding. Whoa.
The night before last = awesome with B sleeping 5 hours straight. Last night = UGH, with B sleeping in 2 hour chunks.
Doing laundry every other day hasn't seemed unmanageable, but this week all of a sudden the laundry seems like cruel master.
As I whittle down the frozen foods generously given to us I realize I haven't eaten this much meat in years. And most mainstream meat doesn't taste like much. Once we eat up what we've been given, you can bet we will be entering a vegetarian phase in this household.
