My E ky is wonky
Apr. 16th, 2004 05:10 pmPre-registration for fall was this week. I screwed around until the last minute. I may end up having an incredible women centered semester. I spent an hour discussing bibliography and work load for a systematics course on Mary in the Catholic tradition. It's a special reading course, meaning I design it and get a faculty member to "teach" it. My wonderful Franciscan priest Christian Anthropology teacher is volunteering. Yay! I also signed up for Feminist Theologies of North America (taught by Rosemary Radford Ruether), a course on the Wisdom writings of the Old Testament (where Sophia comes into play), and..... a women's spirit course highly dance and ritual oriented. For the last class I will laughed out of existence. It sounds fruitier than an orchard. But, if the readings are on Sophia and Mary Magdalene and the Black Madonna, one has to take what one can get around here. If I have to dance and parade around with scarves, so be it.
Non-academically oriented tid-bits:
My new bed continues to bring me dream time loveliness.
Wheat Thins are good.
Spring in Berkeley is fabulous.
