For those of you who are cloth diapering your bubs:

Goodmamas is doing a send-your-own-fabric thing. I want a music note diaper! If this fabric gets approved I will be putting together a coop for it. The amount of fabric required makes 20 diapers. Anyone want one... or two?

If the print is directional, it won't be approved.

I know where you can get the fabric for the Interrobang! diaper... I was going to get one but opted out. None of the prints for diapers have really thrilled me. :(

Yeah, lately some of the prints - especially this round of proposed SYOF - aren't doing it for me. I don't think the music is necessarily directional. It's not real music anyway.

left you a comment in the community about being in for one if you get approved. sporky makes a good point though about this being directional fabric.

question -- do you have any idea if when goodmama did the first SYOF, the co-op leaders asked for more than $35 + s&h per diaper? i submitted 3 fabric choices and after doing the math, i'd have to ask for more than $35 + s&h if i want to come close to breaking even after fabric + s&h costs. assuming my choice(s) get picked, of course.

Yeah.... I was wondering about that now that I'm looking into numbers and thinking seriously about this. Maybe this is a good post for the GM community. I think more than $37 is asking a lot of people.

bah. i should have thought this through before submitting, especially since i submitted 3 choices and am only in love with one of them. $37 isn't going to cover the cost. ooops. i really like 3 fabrics others have picked too.

i got so excited, all the GMs as of late have been kind of ugly imho. :X

I like it, but I am supposed to be on the wagon ;)

NO KIDDING.

But I have been craving a music note diaper. Sometimes a girl's just gotta get it done herself!

If you reconsider (maybe Dave will make an exception for music themes?) I still have 7 slots left I think.

I feel that I should take the opportunity! Dave did like Roadie, Sidewalk Dj and HiFi when I showed him them. :D Let me know if Sooz says yes to the fabric, I'd love to get in on it.

*thuds as she falls off the wagon*

I wish they weren't fitteds!!

I don't really understand spending the $$'s for such lovely prints and stuff only to have to use a cover...

Supposedly once babies start walking they don't need covers so much. It's all just material lust at this point.

I suppose there would be less opportunity for compression wicking if baby is always on their feet :).

It's not just goodmammas...some of the AU sellers make really beautiful fitteds too, and it's always puzzled me.

What is the goodmama fascination?
I like them, but it's true why make em' so pretty when you have to cover them, up?

I don't really know. Some people let their walkers go around coverless. Most of mine are the plain OBVs. I find them more absorbant anyway. But I have to admit that I would love a music note one. It's pure materialism, I admit it!
