You & me both. I can relate to your frustration. The only advice I can give is to not allow yourself to fester, get out, get things done, have fun, embrace the time you have with the beautiful B, as you may regret it later on.

In all seriousness you've got the hardest, most labour, mind and emotion intensive task on your hands in raising a little boy and then the fates in their wisdom have felt the need to lay a bit more work on for good measure. Damn right you want a break and who'd argue that you don't deserve one?
You are allowed to leave B to his own devices now and again, maybe getting hold of a play-pen to put him in for short period during the day while you crash out on the couch for a breather. It's not abandoning or ignoring him, it's introducing him to being self-reliant... Or that's what I keep hearing, not having any kids of my own and being woefully under qualified to comment on any of this... I'll just go stand in a corner and put on the funny hat...
Bennett thinks the play pen is a prison. So that is a no go. But B is quite self-entertaining. Except lately. This happens during developmental spurts. It's sort of like he discovers new chunks of the world and it's scary so he clings to Mama for a safety net. Totally normal and will pass, but WHOA INTENSE while it's happening.
