Solstice

This weekend is the solstice. Tonight, in the northern hemisphere. I celebrate tonight with California sauvignon blanc, wild Alaskan salmon, and a big ass salad. Tomorrow I shall get up with the sun - a respectable 5.15 am - and go do yoga in the park as the sun rises. I'm sure to be very tired, but I'm looking forward to the Sunday morning stillness and crisp air.

In 20 minutes one of Adam's ex-girlfriends is arriving and they are going out to dinner. Hussy. No, I'm sure she's very nice. I am going to sit around and read. And possibly eat dessert, which is yet to be determined.

It's a great night.

Unrelated, but I just stumbled across this link which even though it's from a movie that I won't be seeing, provides some great steps to better, more sustainable eating.

The food *was* amazing. I could eat that every day. The yoga was nice too. All the buildings blocked the sunrise, but still.

The hussy.... well, she came up to meet me and Bennett. She was very nice.
