A really good day

Too tired to elaborate much. Just want to sit by the 'fire' and read while Bennett is sacked out. It was clear and cold today. The thin sunshine called so loudly to me that I couldn't wait to get outside. I walked a bit. I ran a bunch of overdue errands. I went to my office and did actual work. I made a new friend. I fit into my pre-pregnancy skinny jeans. I got hit on by an undergrad on Wednesday, and that has had me a little sparkly for a few days. I don't think he realized that I'm 10 years older than he is. But no matter.

I actually have a bit more of a spring in my step. A surge of energy. I look forward to the spring when this is more common. For now I am thoroughly content to lounge about my house in dark, drinking strong liquor.
