I am sick again and losing my voice. I think I'm going to have to abdicate my solo. I'm really really disappointed. I miss singing. If things don't improve I may have to not sing altogether.

Mold is serious. Get someone who knows what he's looking at to come in and look and tell you what needs to be done. Bill the landlady. This is health-related stuff. I would prioritize it.

Yeah, we've dithered around for weeks, I hate to say. Waiting for the landlord, blah blah blah. Now it's BAD. And we're all coughing. We're also looking at finding another place.

Don't dither. Get it inspected now and charge her later or move now. Do it. I don't know what's growing in your house, but there was some crap growing in a building here just lately, and one of our faculty lost part of a lung. No shit.

I am sooo sorry. I feel for you. I love to sing. One of my sorrows is that I have lost my voice and can't sing in public any more.
That mold is probably part of your problem. It can also be a big health problem for Bennett. Please don't wait any longer.

Hope you can sing for Christmas. It would be a dreadful thing to have to give up.
