Ok. Give it to me straight. Is High School Musical a cheesey, saccharine yet completely solid and enjoyable waste of an afternoon when you're ill? Or, like Twilight, will a part of my soul die if I watch it? I already think Zac Efron is hot (which is so so wrong) so it's got that going for it.

What's wrong with that? :D I think he is hot, too. ;) And you can always blame your flu ... ("oh no, what was I thinking? These evil, evil bastards in my blood ... ." <- like that. ;))

Go for Twilight if you dare ... the guys are not really into wearing too much cloth. ;)

What's wrong about Zac Efron? Well, he's like what, 16? In that movie? It's weird to be in my 30s and finding teenagers lust worthy. Yes it is. But maybe I won't be lusting when I see the movie? I've only seen him as the 20 yr old he is (or so) which is totally different. ;)

He's not so hot in the first one. But the third one? When he's all sweaty in the first basketball scene? YUM. Yeah I said it. And I'll be going to see Charlie St. Cloud when it comes out. Me and all the other cougars.

Awesome. Downloaded and ready for a rainy afternoon viewing. I figure it's safe for B too. Assuming slightly sexualized teenage, heteronormative American high school myth-cheese is safe for anyone. ;) I'll be sure to report back. And I was hoping you'd chime in!

Hey, at least in the third one he's approaching 20! I have never seen Zac Efron in anything, but I have seen some interviews and you know, he seems surprisingly normal and smart and determined. Go kid!
